Mrs. Teena Antony is the Nursing Superintendent at MAGJ Hospital, bringing over 15 years of extensive experience in clinical nursing, nursing education, quality management, and hospital administration. She is dedicated to ensuring excellence in patient care through effective nursing leadership, continuous quality improvement, and staff development.
She holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Nursing, a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration and Management, and a Diploma in Quality Management. She is also a Six Sigma Green Belt certified professional and a certified American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS Instructor, actively contributing to the training and competency development of healthcare professionals.
Mrs. Teena Antony began her career as a Staff Nurse in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) at Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, where she served for four years, providing specialized care to critically ill patients. She subsequently joined MKCC Hospital (Bahrain Defence Force), Bahrain, serving for eight years as Team Leader – Critical Care Unit (CCU), leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality critical care services.
She later worked at Rajagiri Hospital as a Clinical Instructor and Quality & Safety Nurse Specialist, where she was instrumental in nursing education, clinical competency development, patient safety initiatives, and quality improvement programs, while supporting hospital accreditation and regulatory compliance.
At MAGJ Hospital, Mrs. Teena Antony leads the nursing services with a strong focus on patient safety, evidence-based nursing practice, professional excellence, and compassionate care.
