Dr. K. Priyaa Cathrine is a highly skilled Anaesthesiologist and Critical Care Specialist with extensive experience in perioperative anaesthesia, intensive care medicine, trauma management, and multi-specialty critical care. She is dedicated to delivering safe, evidence-based anaesthetic care and comprehensive management of critically ill patients.

Dr. Priyaa completed her MBBS from Sri Muthukumaran Medical College Hospital & Research Institute, Chennai, affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, in 2015, followed by her Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) in 2016. She subsequently pursued her MD in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care from Government Medical College and Rajindra Hospital, Patiala, affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, and completed her postgraduate training in 2022.

Following her postgraduate studies, she served as a Senior Resident in the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Government Medical College and Rajindra Hospital, Patiala, from October 2022 to October 2023, where she gained extensive experience in anaesthesia administration and critical care management across a broad range of surgical specialties.

From November 2023 to July 2025, Dr. Priyaa worked as a Consultant at Rajagiri Hospital, Aluva, providing anaesthesia and critical care services in Surgical ICU, Trauma ICU, Liver Transplant ICU, Joint Replacement ICU, Liver ICU, and Neuro-Medical ICU. She managed complex surgical and critically ill patients while working as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Since October 2025, she has been serving as a Specialist in the Medical and Neuro-Medical Intensive Care Unit at Aster Medcity, Kochi, where she is actively involved in the management of critically ill patients requiring advanced intensive care support.
